NEW YORK CITY TOURISM + CONVENTIONS

Objectives:

Diversify the city\\\'s tourism offerings, encouraging visitors to explore beyond
Manhattan and discover the richness of the other boroughs.

Strategy:

To achieve this objective, we focus on two  key pillars:

  1. Continuous Training: Promote the training of travel agents, providing them with tools and knowledge to highlightthe tourist attractions of Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.
  2. Strategic Partnerships: Establish collaborations with airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs, and key associations, to carry out promotional activations that showcase the main attractions of all five boroughs of the city.

Results:

  • 1,500 travel agents trained.
  • 5 familiarization trips held, visiting Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan.
  • 1 consumer marketing campaign, in partnership with Pricetravel, generating 2.5 million USD in hotel revenue.

360 CHICAGO

Objectives:

  • Strengthen the positioning of 360 Chicago as the leading attraction in the Windy City.
  • Increase the number of Mexican visitors.

Strategy:

To achieve these objectives, we focused on three key strategies:

  1. Continuous Training and Strategic Partnerships: Boost the training of travel agents and establish collaborations with airlines and tour operators.
  2. Storytelling: Communicate through various media the unique experiences that 360 Chicago offers, creating an emotional connection with potential visitors.
  3. Collaboration with Content Creators: Partner with influencers and content creators to showcase the 360 Chicago experience from new perspectives, amplifying the reach and visibility of the attraction.

Results:

  • 991 travel agents trained, a 20% increase compared to the previous year.
  • 24,000 USD in advertising equivalency, a 50% increase compared to the previous year.
  • 8.8 million media reach.
  • 13,000 impressions generated through digital campaigns and collaborations.

AH CHIHUAHUA AT NEEXTT SMA

Ah Chihuahua stood out at Neextt Unique Hotels & Destinations 2024, participating in business rounds with 8 tour operators from Chihuahua. 264 meetings were held with luxury travel agency buyers from Mexico and Central America. Additionally, Ah Chihuahua hosted an exclusive sotol tasting at the Hotel Dos Casas in San Miguel de Allende, which included a local gastronomic experience.

YUCATÁN TOURISM PROMOTION EVENT IN NEW YORK

On July 25, 2024, a successful tourism promotion event for Yucatán was held at Casa Carmen Flatiron in New York, organized with Aeroméxico and Grupo Mesones de Yucatán. The event featured the presence of Ambassador Jorge Islas López and Lic. Michelle Fridman, former Secretary of Tourism of Yucatán. Chef Wilson Alonso, Yucatán\\\'s culinary ambassador, offered a tasting of Yucatecan appetizers. The event attracted over 50 premium wholesale travel agencies from New York, including VIP Cruise & Travel, Manhattan Travel, and American Express Global Business Travel.
